Job Description:
We are a leading renewable energy company seeking a
Design Engineer
for electrical systems in large-scale solar projects. This role will involve leading a team to design electrical systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and optimize cost-effective solutions for solar power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical design for solar PV projects, including DC/AC systems, cable sizing, and protection systems.
- Oversee design documentation, including technical specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery.
- Mentor and manage a team of electrical designers and engineers.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5-8 years in electrical design for solar power projects.
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSyst; knowledge of solar electrical systems and grid codes.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams and coordinating projects.
