Business Finance Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Business Finance Associate
to support financial planning, reporting, and project-level financial control. The role will work closely with business and operations teams to track performance, manage budgets, and ensure financial discipline across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support preparation and maintenance of
Business P&L statements - Manage and track
project-level P&L
, ensuring cost and revenue alignment - Assist in
project budgeting
, forecasting, and variance analysis - Prepare and maintain
MIS reports
for management review (weekly/monthly) - Work on basic accounting and finance operations using
Zoho Finance (basic version) - Track project costs, margins, and profitability metrics
- Support financial analysis to aid business decision-making
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect financial data and resolve discrepancies
Required Skills & Competencies
- Hands-on knowledge of
Zoho Finance (basic level) - MIS reporting
– intermediate proficiency - Strong understanding of
Business P&L - Experience managing
project-level P&L - Knowledge of
project budgeting and cost tracking - Good Excel skills (formulas, pivots, basic analysis)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Experience & Qualification
- 1–3 years
of experience in Business Finance, Project Finance, or MIS roles - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred
Good to Have
- Exposure to multi-project or operations-heavy environments
- Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and business teams
