Job Responsibilities:
Executive Housekeeper (Hotel)
- Supervise Housekeeping Staff:
- Manage, train, and schedule housekeeping team members.
- Ensure staff follow hotel policies and maintain professional behavior.
Maintain Cleanliness Standards:
- Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Inventory & Supplies Management:
- Monitor and maintain housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Prepare purchase requests and control usage to avoid wastage.
Guest Satisfaction:
- Handle guest complaints related to housekeeping services professionally and promptly.
- Ensure prompt response to guest requests and special preferences.
Team Leadership:
- Motivate the team to maintain high standards.
- Organize regular training sessions for staff development.
Budget Management:
- Assist in managing the department's budget efficiently.
- Monitor cost control without compromising quality.
Coordination with Other Departments:
- Work closely with front office, maintenance, and laundry to ensure smooth operations.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up on timely resolution.
Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and health standards.
- Maintain records as required by hotel management and local authorities.
Laundry and Linen Management:
- Oversee hotel laundry operations and ensure proper handling and inventory of linens.
Daily Reporting:
- Prepare daily reports on room status, staff performance, and housekeeping issues for hotel management.
