Role & responsibilities

  1. The Biology Teacher at Creative will spark curiosity, encourage deep inquiry, and facilitate connections between Science and other disciplines.
  2. Plan and conduct exploration-rich biology lessons that begin with students existing knowledge and expand into higher-level concepts as per the prescribed syllabi/
  3. Employ varied teaching mediumsbooks, videos, debates, experiments, eld trips,gardening, cooking, photography, art, and nature walksto deepen understanding .
  4. Integrate science with mathematics (e.g., data analysis, measurements, graph interpretation), language arts (e.g., scientic writing, research skills), and arts (e.g.scientic illustration, model-making).
  5. Design, supervise, and evaluate laboratory experiments.

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Bachelor's or Masters degree in Science or related eld and/or experience in teaching research based project work and science in school settings
  2. Knowledge and understanding of Cambridge International Curriculum will be an advantage.
  3. Experience teaching teenagers using experiential and contextual approaches.
  4. Prociency with digital tools for data analysis, and presentations.
  5. Ability to review textbooks and reference books to work with relevant materials.
  6. Open-mindedness, empathy, reectiveness, and enthusiasm for child-centered, holistic education.
