About The Team

The Information Technology team at Rubrik influences business processes, employee experience, and technologies to scale our organization to $1B+. This team creates operational efficiency across the company by centralizing the management of Infrastructure, Technology, and Data. The IT team ensures all stages of the software development lifecycle in a secured environment and scrutinizes the deployment of proper processes along with governance. They champion Rubrik on Rubrik and are the first customers of the Engineering teams at Rubrik.

Rubrik Corp IT is constructed of 100% SaaS and 0% on-premises. The IT team caters to accelerated enhancement of business value and multiple day-to-day business processes through our varied SaaS applications like , Oracle Netsuite, Workday, Snowflake, Etrade, jitterbit, Allocadia, etc. This team also delivers high-paced business outcomes with 100% system uptime backed by agile, nimble, simple, but cohesive Cloud architectures.

What you'll do:
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Solve complex technical problems and debug issues.
  • Occasionally lead and collaborate technical aspects of projects as per the functional design
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Develop unit test plan for major enhancements
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Influence technical decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap
  • Build scalable systems for high traffic and data.
  • Optimize performance and ensure high system availability.
  • Evaluate new system integrations between Salesforce and other upstream/downstream applications
  • Working experience with third-parties to provide technical support, research, troubleshooting and be able to identify issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Salesforce functionality on new releases, customizations and integrations
Experience you'll need:
  • 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development
  • Experience in Sales and Service cloud - Deep understanding of core modules
  • Experience with CI/CD Devops including using tools such as: Visual Studio Code, Git, Bitbucket and Copado
  • Experience working with Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), API, SOQL and SOSL
  • Mastering of Role Hierarchy, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules
  • End-to-End ownership - Leading development efforts from design to development
  • Stakeholder communication -Engaging with Product Owners, Business analyst, and Architects to align technical solutions as per the business requirements
  • Mentoring & Code reviews - Coaching junior developers and ensuring clean code
  • Documentation & Best practices- Writing technical design docs and maintaining a knowledge based
  • Good communication skill to work with global team
  • Experience in backend JavaScript is plus
  • SOX or ITGC's experience preferred
  • Experience in ticketing systems like JIRA
  • Ability to reprioritize tasks and manage time to deliver results on requests
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
