Database Engineeris needed to perform the following duties:Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Java 17, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and relational databases, following software engineering best practices. Implemented caching strategies to improve application performance and reuse frequently accessed data efficiently. Analyze business requirements and defects, writing optimized SQL queries and applying object-oriented programming principles to deliver robust code. Participate in technical grooming and design sessions, translating complex requirements into scalable, modular, and maintainable solutions. Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, data modeling (UML), workspace setup instructions, and user guides. Configure database access controls and permissions based on user roles to ensure secure operations. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Develop batch processes and scripts to process large input data sets and integrate them into the application backend. Monitor and maintained database and application performance, including daily, weekly, and monthly operational tasks. Attended technical workshops, training sessions, and team meetings to stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Performed additional related duties as required, contributing to system improvements and operational efficiency. Bachelor's Degree is required in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
