Job Title: Cloud Engineer – GCP / GCVE / Terraform

Location: Remote (Pune, Indore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore)

Employment Type: Contract to Hire (6 months)

Budget: Up to 17 LPA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE), Infrastructure Automation, and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and automated cloud infrastructures while supporting application deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures on GCP and GCVE.
  • Build, deploy, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and related tooling.
  • Manage cloud networking, security, IAM, VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, and monitoring.
  • Support application and infrastructure CI/CD using best DevOps and SRE practices.
  • Troubleshoot cloud, network, and deployment-related issues across environments.
  • Perform cost optimization, resource utilization monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and production releases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–9 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with GCP services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Cloud Build.
  • Practical experience managing GCVE (Google Cloud VMware Engine).
  • Proven experience in Infrastructure Automation using Terraform.
  • Experience implementing Cloud Build CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of containerization, Kubernetes (GKE optional), and cloud networking.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar.
  • Excellent troubleshooting ability and strong ownership mindset.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of multi-cloud strategies (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with Ansible/GitOps/Kubernetes deployments.
  • Certifications in GCP Cloud Engineer or Architect.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹1,600, ₹1,700,000.00 per year
