We have a hybrid work culture. 3 days a week working from the Hyderabad office during core working hours and 2 days working from home.

The Position
The Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and manage the company's cloud infrastructure to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing environments across AWS, Azure, and SaaS platforms. This role is responsible for implementing cloud governance, automation, and identity integrations under the guidance of the Security team. The engineer will collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, and IT Operations to support business continuity, compliance, and performance objectives. Additionally, the Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer will lead cloud initiatives that enhance cost efficiency, resilience, and operational excellence

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud environments in AWS, Azure, and hybrid infrastructures.
• Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies, role-based permissions, and integrations with Okta and Azure AD, under the guidance of the Security team.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, or Workato to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and cost through dashboards, tagging policies, and automated alerts.
• Partner with Security to execute cloud security initiatives including encryption, key management, network segmentation, and compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and IT Operations to plan migrations, optimize SaaS/PaaS utilization, and support disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Maintain and enhance documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures for all cloud environments.
• Serve as the technical escalation point for cloud-related issues and mentor junior engineers in automation and best practices.
• Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and self-service knowledge bases to improve operational efficiency and empower end users.

Other Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement of cloud governance, automation pipelines, and monitoring frameworks.
• Partner with Finance and Procurement to manage cloud spend and vendor relationships.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for cloud-related issues.
• Additional responsibilities and project-based work may be assigned as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing enterprise cloud environments.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS and Azure administration, including IAM, networking, storage, and compute services.
• Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation platforms such as Terraform, CloudFormation, PowerShell, or Workato.
• Familiarity with Okta, Azure AD, and SSO/MFA integrations.
• Strong understanding of network security, cost management, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
