Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant specializing in Oracle ERP Financials modules to design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical solutions within Oracle Cloud Financial applications. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in Oracle Cloud Financial processes, deep understanding of financial business workflows, and proficiency in various Oracle technical components including reporting, integrations, and customizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Technical Consultant on Oracle Cloud Financials implementation and support projects, providing deep technical expertise across Financial and SCM modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing.
• Leverage hands-on experience in Oracle Financials BI & OTBI reporting, financial data models, value sets, and personalization to address complex technical and functional requirements specific to financial processes.
• ADD POINT on OIC INTEGRATIONS for FINANCIALS (Using Rest and SOAP APIs)
• Implement and support Oracle Cloud Financial modules and solutions, ensuring successful resolution of advanced techno-functional challenges related to financial reporting, period close processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Utilize advanced technical skills in Oracle Financial products, including expertise in financial business rules, accounting configurations, and automation workflows, combined with strong problem-solving abilities to meet project objectives.
• Demonstrate expertise in creating sophisticated financial data models and building comprehensive BI Publisher reports for financial statements, regulatory reports, and management dashboards using Excel, RTF, and online templates.
• Perform advanced performance tuning for financial BI Publisher reports, ensuring optimal generation of high-volume financial reports, trial balance extractions, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain proficiency in RDBMS/SQL with specialized focus on Oracle Financials database structures, executing complex financial BI and OTBI reports, financial Infolets, and executive dashboards.
• Detailed knowledge on Financials and SCM tables and field structure in Oracle Cloud.
• Configure and manage security roles within BI Publisher specifically for financial reporting access, ensuring proper segregation of duties and compliance with financial control requirements.
• Implement sophisticated BI Publisher report bursting and scheduling processes for automated financial report distribution, month-end close reporting, and regulatory filing automation.
• Collaborate effectively with finance teams, project stakeholders, and business users, maintaining strong relationships while delivering technical solutions that support financial operations and compliance.
• Design, develop, and support comprehensive financial BI & OTBI reports, including statutory reports, FRS reports, management reports, financial consolidation reports, and customized financial analytics based on specific business requirements.
• Work closely with financial functional consultants and cross-functional teams to analyse complex financial business requirements, providing technical insights and designing robust financial system solutions.
• Develop and implement Oracle Financial integrations including bank file processing, third-party financial system interfaces, tax reporting integrations, and upstream/downstream financial data flows.
• Conduct thorough testing of all financial technical changes, including unit testing, financial process integration testing, month-end close testing, and performance validation while maintaining detailed documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Demonstrate comprehensive familiarity with Oracle SaaS Financial technical capabilities, including financial security models, approval workflows, specialized financial reports, and financial data loading tools such as HDL, FBDI, and ADFDI.
• Support Oracle Financial Cloud quarterly releases and updates, ensuring continuous enhancement of financial technical capabilities and maintenance of financial system performance.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant technical experience in Oracle ERP Financials is essential, with hands-on implementation and support expertise.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, XML, XPath, XSLT specifically applied to Oracle Financial applications and financial data structures.
• Proven experience with Oracle Financial Cloud technical components including Financial Reporting Studio, Account Monitor, Financial Data Quality Management, and Journals Import processes.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for financial integrations, bank connectivity, and large-scale financial data manipulations and transformations.
• Proficient in financial web service technologies and integration architecture discussions, including financial APIs, bank file formats, and regulatory reporting interfaces.
• Experience working in financial production support environments, monitoring financial batch processes, ensuring SLA compliance for critical financial operations like period close and regulatory reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, and financial consolidation workflows.
• Knowledge of financial controls, segregation of duties, and audit trail requirements within Oracle Financial applications.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to work effectively with finance teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder for financial application customizations and Oracle ERP Cloud financial extensions.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes and production support workflows specific to financial applications and critical financial processing windows.
• Experience in mentoring technical team members and providing guidance on Oracle Financial technical best practices.
• Knowledge of financial regulatory requirements including SOX compliance, GAAP/IFRS standards, and various country-specific financial reporting mandates.
• Oracle Cloud Financial certifications or relevant technical certifications in Oracle technologies.
• Experience with financial data migration, including chart of accounts conversion, opening balance transfers, and historical financial data preservation.
• Understanding of financial analytics and data warehousing concepts for management reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
