About the Role

We are seeking highly skilled
Development Engineers (C)
to join our core silicon validation and system development team. You will play a key role in
developing and enhancing the Validation Operating System
, enabling pre- and post-silicon validation activities for next-generation platforms. This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, from
emulation and prototyping
to
silicon bring-up and board-level validation
.

Key Responsibilities


Development of Validation Operating System (VOS):

  • Design and develop modules in C for hardware validation frameworks.
  • Integrate device drivers, firmware interfaces, and debug infrastructure for silicon validation.


Pre-Silicon Development and Debug:

  • Develop and debug code on
    emulation/prototyping platforms
    .
  • Work closely with architecture and RTL teams to validate design functionality before tape-out.


Post-Silicon Enablement:

  • Participate in
    board bring-up
    activities for new silicon.
  • Perform
    silicon validation
    , debug hardware/software interaction issues, and ensure functional readiness.
  • Develop and maintain tools/scripts to automate validation tasks.

Required Skills & Expertise

Strong proficiency in
C programming
(8+/10) — deep understanding of pointers, memory management, and low-level constructs.

Expertise in
Data Structures
and efficient algorithmic problem-solving.

Experience with
embedded systems
, firmware, or hardware-software interfaces.

Solid understanding of
system-level debugging
and
hardware validation workflows
.

Exposure to
emulation/prototyping
environments (like FPGA/RTL models).

Hands-on experience with
post-silicon validation
and
board bring-up
is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in
    Computer Science, Electronics, or related field
    .
  • Familiarity with
    operating systems internals
    , device drivers, or kernel modules.
  • Understanding of
    hardware protocols (PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, etc.)
    .
  • Experience with
    Python/Perl scripting
    for automation.
  • Good analytical and debugging skills using tools like
    JTAG, Oscilloscope, or Logic Analyzer
    .
