Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications, ensuring product quality and reliability.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to resolve issues.
  • Participate in test planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with QA processes and standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–6 years of proven experience as a Manual Tester.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
  • Good knowledge of database testing (SQL queries).
  • Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to API testing (using Postman or similar tools).
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
