vConstruct a Pune-based Construction Technology company, is looking for a talented and detail-driven QA Engineer with 23 years of experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or Selenium with Java, along with strong skills in API testing. Youll play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of our software applications across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Design and implement test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript) or Selenium (Java).
  • Perform thorough regression and functional testing of web applications.
  • Test APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members in an Agile environment.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, coverage, and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in QA (manual and automation).
  • Strong knowledge of Playwright with TypeScript or Selenium with Java.
  • Solid experience in API testing (manual and automated).
  • Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in writing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Knowledge of databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
