1. Vehicle Diagnosis & Repair
- Diagnose vehicle issues accurately using diagnostic tools and test drives.
- Carry out repair, replacement, and maintenance work as per job card instructions.
- Follow correct repair procedures as per OEM (Mahindra / brand) service manuals.
- Ensure all reported customer complaints are attended to and resolved.
2. Quality of Work
- Perform all jobs with high quality and zero rework.
- Ensure proper torque, alignment, and calibration during assembly and fitting.
- Verify that all repairs meet workshop and manufacturer standards.
- Inform the Team Leader or Floor Supervisor of any additional defects found.
3. Productivity & Efficiency
- Achieve daily productivity and efficiency targets.
- Report job completion time accurately on the job card or system.
- Minimize idle time and manage tools and workspace effectively.
4. Safety & Housekeeping
- Follow all workshop safety rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure the vehicle is safely parked, jacked, and handled during repair.
- Maintain cleanliness in the bay, tools, and surroundings.
- Immediately report any accidents or hazards to the Supervisor.
5. Tools & Equipment Handling
- Use the correct tools and equipment for each job.
- Keep all tools in proper condition and return them to their designated place after use.
- Report any malfunction or damage to tools and machines immediately.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure job cards are updated properly after completion of work.
- Mention parts used, labor hours consumed, and additional work required.
- Support the Service Advisor or Team Leader with technical inputs when required.
7. Training & Skill Development
- Attend regular technical training and skill enhancement programs.
- Stay updated with the latest automotive technologies and service bulletins.
- Implement learnings from training in day-to-day work for better results.
8. Teamwork & Discipline
- Cooperate with Team Leaders, Service Advisors, and fellow technicians.
- Maintain punctuality and discipline in attendance and work behavior.
- Support the team in achieving workshop targets and customer satisfaction.
9. Customer Focus
- Handle customer vehicles with care and respect.
- Avoid unnecessary use of customer vehicles and accessories.
- Ensure no damage or missing parts after repair work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
