Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps Finance Functional Consultant with 6+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 and/or Oracle Fusion Financials. The ideal candidate should have strong domain knowledge in finance and accounting processes, along with hands-on experience in Oracle Financial modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Work with business users to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.

Configure, test, and support Oracle Financials modules including:

General Ledger (GL

Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Fixed Assets (FA)

Cash Management (CM)

Subledger Accounting (SLA)

Participate in end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and support projects.

Perform GAP analysis and prepare functional design documents (MD50s).

Support the development team in preparing technical documents (MD70s).

Assist in solution design, system configuration, testing, and user training.

Support period-end closing activities and resolve production issues.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, HRMS, etc.) for integrated processes.

Prepare user manuals, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and financial controls where applicable.

Required Skills:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 Financials or Oracle Fusion Financials.

Should have worked on 23 implementation or upgrade projects.

Strong functional knowledge of core finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM.

Working knowledge of multi-org setups, accounting setups, and reporting tools (FSG, BI Publisher).

Ability to prepare and understand AIM/OUM documentation (MD50, BR100, TE40).

Hands-on experience in configuring and testing financial modules.

Exposure to interfaces, conversions, and integration with third-party systems.

Good understanding of business accounting practices and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials is a strong advantage.

Knowledge of Oracle Projects, Tax, or Procurement modules is a plus.

Familiarity with SQL/PLSQL for basic data extraction or analysis.

Experience in working with global teams and clients.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

CA / CPA / MBA Finance (preferred but not mandatory).

Oracle Functional Certifications are a plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Client-facing experience is desirable.
