1.Patient Handling & Support

  • Welcome and guide patients and attendants in OPD/IPD.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, doctors availability, procedures, and waiting times.
  • Ensure patients are assisted with registration, billing, admission & discharge processes.
  • Address patient queries promptly and professionally.

2. Supervision & Team Coordination

  • Monitor the daily activities of Patient Care Executives.
  • Allocate duties, manage shift schedules, and ensure punctuality.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital SOPs by the patient care team.
  • Provide on-the-job training to staff for improving service quality.

3. Patient Experience & Service Quality

  • Ensure high standards of hospitality and patient satisfaction.
  • Handle patient complaints and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Conduct regular rounds to check comfort, cleanliness, and service gaps.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, nursing, billing, and other departments for seamless service.

4. Admission, Billing & Discharge Coordination

  • Ensure proper documentation and verification of patient details.
  • Coordinate with billing and TPA teams for approvals and clarity.
  • Monitor discharge process to avoid delays and maintain transparency.

5. Administrative Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports related to patient footfall, queries, and feedback.
  • Maintain records of escalations and resolutions.
  • Participate in hospital audits, meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist management in implementing new processes for improved patient care.

6. Emergency Support

  • Assist in managing patient flow during peak hours and emergencies.
  • Support the hospital team during mass casualty or high-volume situations.

  • Preferred Candidate

  • Graduate in any discipline; healthcare management preferred.

  • Minimum 3 -5 years of experience in patient care/healthcare service roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations, billing, and service protocols.
  • Leadership qualities and team management capability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hospital management systems (HMS).Role & responsibilities
