Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and direct all aspects of the companys financial and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  2. Formulate and implement financial strategies to support organizational objectives and long-term business plans.
  3. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  4. Manage treasury operations, fund flow, and working capital requirements effectively.
  5. Ensure timely and accurate compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax laws, FEMA, and other financial regulations.
  6. Drive cost optimization initiatives and ensure efficient vendor management to enhance profitability.
  7. Monitor key financial metrics, assess business risks, and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
  8. Lead, develop, and mentor the finance and accounting team to ensure operational excellence and professional growth.
  9. Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with significant exposure to the logistics, shipping, or container industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in Income Tax, Service Tax, FEMA Regulations, DTAA, and Freight Tax.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial management and leadership in a complex business environment.
  • Excellent people management, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
