We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and assisting with budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage collections for outstanding accounts.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies, including resolving any accounting issues that arise.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, financial projections, and cost analysis.
  • Audit Support: Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Record Keeping and Filing: Ensure proper filing and organization of financial records for easy retrieval.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Experience: Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
