We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Engineer with a strong background in Python development and machine learning to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI models and systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LLMs (Large Language Models), multimodal models, and AI-driven content generation, along with deep expertise in software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize generative AI models (e.g., GPT, diffusion, transformer-based architectures).
  • Develop scalable Python-based AI pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, and inference.
  • Fine-tune and deploy pre-trained large language models using frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or OpenAI API.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, ML engineers, product teams) to integrate AI models into production systems.
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art techniques in text, image, and multimodal generation.
  • Optimize model performance, latency, and scalability in cloud or on-prem environments.
  • Maintain model governance, versioning, and responsible AI compliance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI architecture and code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in AI/ML.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and its libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, FastAPI, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of deep learning architectures (transformers, CNNs, RNNs, diffusion models).
  • Experience with Generative AI frameworks e.g., LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LlamaIndex, Stable Diffusion, Midjourney APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, and embedding-based retrieval (RAG).
  • Familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, MLflow, Kubernetes, AWS Sagemaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
  • Solid understanding of data engineering principles and API development.
  • Strong problem-solving and algorithmic skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
