- Key Responsibilities: Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing building and deployment processes for applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform Ansible or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. Collaborate with software engineers to improve deployment processes enhance development efficiency and resolve technical issues related to build deployment and monitoring. Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of the cloud environment. Work with security teams to integrate security best practices into the CI/CD pipeline and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations. Troubleshoot and optimize performance bottlenecks in the CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments. Stay up to date with industry best practices and new cloud technologies to continually improve processes and system reliability. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience. 3+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer with CI/CD pipeline management on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or Google Cloud Build. Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform Ansible or Google Cloud Deployment Manager. Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python Bash. Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments including IAM policies network security and vulnerability scanning. Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment. Preferred Qualifications: Google Cloud certifications (Professional DevOps Engineer Professional Cloud Architect etc.). Experience with microservices architecture and managing large-scale data-driven applications. Hands-on experience with Big Data services on GCP like BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub and Dataproc.
