Job Description
RSM is seeking an experienced
Manager – Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
to lead high-impact BI and analytics projects, manage multi-skilled teams, and drive innovation in client solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and consulting skills with deep expertise in
Microsoft Data Stack, Snowflake, BI platforms, AI-enhanced analytics
You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of enterprise BI and analytics solutions, ensuring clients maximize the value of their data through actionable insights, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows. This role also involves contributing to business development, presales activities, and practice growth.

Responsibilities
Solution Delivery & Leadership

• Lead and oversee the design, development, and deployment of BI and analytics solutions leveraging Microsoft Data Stack (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI), Snowflake, and other modern analytics platforms.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple client projects, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and alignment with client objectives.
• Define best practices, standards, and guidelines for BI solution design, data governance, and security.
• Oversee the development of reusable assets, templates, and accelerators to improve delivery efficiency.

Business Intelligence

• Lead the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and self-service BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance optimization across BI solutions.

Client Engagement & Practice Growth

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements, define BI roadmaps, and align solutions to business goals.
• Contribute to presales activities, including RFP responses, solution proposals, pricing strategies, and technical demos.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand BI and analytics services within existing accounts.
• Support the development and marketing of BI and analytics offerings for target industries and service lines.

Team Management & Development

• Manage, mentor, and develop BI developers, analysts, and automation specialists.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team.
• Promote Agile/Scrum practices for delivery efficiency and team alignment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in BI, analytics, and data visualization, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Overseeing teams/delivery on multiple projects simultaneously, providing guidance and ensuring successful delivery of projects
• Strong expertise in Power BI and experience with Microsoft Data Stack (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake) and Snowflake.
• Proficiency with SQL
• Hands-on experience delivering both batch and streaming analytics.
• Strong consulting experience, including presales, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect.
• Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Core.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist or higher).
• Alteryx Core or Advanced Certification.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Exposure to AI-driven analytics and predictive modeling.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Engineering or equivalent field.
• Master's degree is CS or MBA is preferred.
• Advanced Data and Cloud Certifications are a plus.
