Job Description-- :

We are seeking experienced DevSecOps Consultants to lead and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps assessment and advisory engagement for Bass Pro's Azure environment. The consultants will evaluate the CI/CD pipeline maturity, infrastructure automation, security posture, observability, platform integrations, and cost governance to recommend actionable improvements aligned with Azure and DevOps best practices. The role will be fully offshore, requiring strong collaboration with distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins for high deployment throughput and rollback resilience in an offshore setting.
  • Automate and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates, ensuring modularization, versioning, and drift detection aligned with GitOps practices.
  • Integrate security scanners (SAST, DAST, IaC) into CI/CD pipelines to enforce shift-left security and compliance automation, ensuring they align with offshore development practices.
  • Secure pipelines through Azure Key Vault integration, secrets rotation, and policy-as-code enforcement across build and release stages.
  • Automate deployment and governance of Azure PaaS components, ensuring adherence to naming conventions, tagging policies, and cost optimization in the context of offshore operations.
  • Build observability frameworks using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to capture golden signals and enable proactive alerting.
  • Enforce identity governance with RBAC, JIT access, MFA, and Conditional Access to reduce the attack surface across cloud environments, leveraging offshore collaboration.
  • Align DevSecOps strategy with DORA metrics, SRE principles, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework for operational excellence and scalability.
  • Conduct FinOps-aligned cost analysis and implement automation for resource efficiency and budget adherence in offshore settings.
  • Engineer incident response automation using SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel and define remediation workflows for security and operational incidents.
  • Lead cloud security assessments and implement guardrails to ensure compliance with CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001 across Azure environments.
  • Architect and manage enterprise identity and access models, including service principals, managed identities, and federated SSO configurations.
  • Drive vulnerability management and remediation through continuous scanning and governance of container images, dependencies, and configurations.
  • Standardize environments using configuration baselines and enforce compliance via policy-as-code and automation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to promote DevSecOps adoption and platform reliability engineering across remote teams and offshore pipelines.
  • Integrate threat modeling and risk evaluation in early SDLC stages for proactive attack surface reduction.
  • Lead internal DevSecOps maturity reviews and provide strategic guidance for process and toolchain enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or Infrastructure Automation.
  • Strong experience with Azure, preferably certified (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104).
  • Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Deep knowledge of secure SDLC, DevSecOps automation, and IaC security.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and SIEM tools like Azure Security Center, Sentinel, or Defender.
  • Experience implementing DORA metrics, SRE principles, and aligning with the Well-Architected Frameworks.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a distributed, offshore team environment, maintaining strong communication and coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure Administrator/DevOps/Security certifications.
  • Experience with GitOps and automated remediation practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and working in hybrid teams (onsite/offshore).
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
  • Understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost governance.
  • Prior experience in conducting DevSecOps maturity assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Security/DevOps certifications (AZ-500, AZ-400)
  • Familiarity with multi-cloud ecosystems (AWS/GCP)
  • Understanding of DORA metrics, SRE principles, and FinOps cost governance
  • Experience in conducting DevSecOps maturity assessments
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and offshore delivery best practices
