Job Title: Financial Controller 

Location:  Mumbai 

Reports To: Cluster Manager 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Sr. Manager/ Manager – Accounts from the Hospitality Industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Financial Statements as per IND AS on quarterly / annual basis with Notes to Accounts and other disclosures within defined timelines. 
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances as well as proper and up-to-date documentation of all books of accounts, reports, lease and revenue contracts. 
  • Responsible for timely processing of vendor/ contractor/ supplier bills for respective projects ensuring all functional procedures are adhered. 
  • Ensure all bills received from different departments for payment are complete and correct (in terms of code, approvals, all necessary documents are duly attached. 
  • Ensure adherence to the defined Audit Plan (for internal and external audits) for respective projects. 
  • Ensure that all audit findings are communicated to the Senior Management in line with the defined reporting norms. 
  • Ensure compliance with all findings/ recommendations from internal/ external audits. 
  • Ensure correct and timely bank and cash reconciliation including verification of bank charges and interests for respective projects. 
  • Ensure all statutory payments (TDS, Income Tax, VAT, GST, PF, etc.) are made on timely basis. 
  • Ensure all returns as required under Direct and Indirect Tax are filed on timely basis and accurately. 
  • Preparation of data for Tax Audit purpose and ensuring its timely filing.
  • Submission of data and replies to assessments under Income Tax or for Appeal purpose.
  • To ensure GST Liability is computed correctly and Input has been taken correctly as per law.
  • Collation of data related to GST Annual Returns or for Departmental Audits. 
  • Preparation of Quarterly and Annual Projections.
  • Preparation and review of various financial and accounting MIS. 
  • Updated about changed in various accounting, secretarial and tax laws. 
  • Ensure all such changes are implemented properly.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Chartered Accountant 
  • Sound Knowledge of Financial Closure 
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Framework and IFC's 
  • Statutory/ Regulatory Compliance Management under Direct and Indirect Tax Law 
  • Knowledge of Financial Analysis & Control Frameworks and techniques
