Job Title: NICU NurseJob Summary:

The NICU Nurse will be responsible for remote patient care at our partner NICUs, offering hands-on experience in various procedures, such as CPAP/HFNC, intubation, initiating ventilation, securing central lines, and ABG sampling. Other responsibilities include patient monitoring, troubleshooting ICU issues, coordinating bedside nursing care, ensuring compliance to protocols, documenting patient progress, initiating appropriate actions during emergency situations, and maintaining vital sign records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Caring for neonates at the remote NICU from a centralized care center
  • Managing patients and documenting their progress
  • Troubleshooting ICU issues and coordinating bedside nursing care in accordance with global standards
  • Assisting or hands-on experience in procedures such as CPAP/HFNC, intubation, initiating ventilation, securing central lines, ABG sampling
  • Conducting tele rounds involving patient review, daily rounds, and review of labs and radiology, drug charts, compliance to protocols
  • Liaising with the bedside team to provide critical care expertise
  • Checking in on sick patients with regular intermittent tele rounds
  • Documenting patient level data and communication in our smartICU platform, RADAR
  • Identifying changes in patient symptoms and intervening in emergency situations
  • Following appropriate guidelines and schedules
  • Keeping and tracking records for vital signs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • B.Sc Nursing/M.Sc Nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on NICU experience in a well-reputed hospital
  • NRP certification and BLS
