EXIM Assistant

PRE-SHIPMENT

• Preparing Shipping instructions (BILL OF LADING DRAFT)
• Submit timely document instructions to freight forwarders as per LC or as per PI
• Share First Check copy of BL to Marketing Department and take necessary approval
• Ensure timely submission of shipping documents such as shipping bill, Custom Invoice & Packing List to forwarders
• Ensure releasing of Bill of Lading within three days after shipped on board and track the delays
• Co-ordination for with lines and shipper for surrenders
• Prepare DSR (Daily Shipping Report) and update on regular basis in SAP
• Coordinate with Mumbai accounts team for lodgment of documents and get tracking number of couriers
• Keeping track of shipment order and status after shipments are loaded on vessel until it gets delivered to Customer and inform delays if any to concerns

POST SHIPMENT

• Plan Day to Day export Documentation Preparation as per Priority
• Prepare and audit export documentation such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, certificate of Origin, Saafta, GSP, White Form, vessel certificate, draft and covering letter
• Prepare Insurance online for export shipments
• Ensure Requirement of Letter of Credit for export shipments and maintaining LC Records
• Coordinate with purchase department for Heat Treatment Certificate
• Prepare Data Sheet of exports and update on regular basis
• Create, assemble and present applicable export documentation required per country specific destination in accordance with export laws and regulations and send to Mumbai office for lodgment in Bank
• Maintain export files in an organized and catalogued system
