Position Title : NICU Nurse
Department : Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location : Unittas Multispeciality Hospital – ECR & OMR
Reporting To : Head Nurse / NICU In-charge

Position Summary:
The NICU Nurse will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring close monitoring, safe treatment, and support for both infants and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock care for premature and critically ill neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor and record vital signs, oxygen levels, and overall health status of newborns.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition as prescribed by neonatologists.
- Operate and monitor incubators, ventilators, and other neonatal medical equipment.
- Maintain infection control practices and ensure a sterile environment in the NICU.
- Assist doctors during neonatal procedures and emergencies.
- Educate and support parents regarding baby care, feeding, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality neonatal care.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma / B.Sc. in Nursing (with valid registration under the Nursing Council).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in NICU or pediatric care required.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal health, baby care, and emergency response.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Female candidates required
Work Conditions:
- Rotational shifts (12 hours).
- Exposure to critical medical cases requiring high emotional resilience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹40,000.00 per month
