Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in Python programming to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development, data modeling, and data integration using modern cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows in Snowflake using SQL and Python.
  • Implement data ingestion from multiple sources (on-prem, APIs, cloud storage).
  • Develop Python scripts for automation, data transformation, and validation.
  • Optimize Snowflake queries and manage performance tuning.
  • Implement Snowflake features such as Streams, Tasks, Stages, and Snowpipe.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance best practices.
  • Integrate Snowflake with tools like DBT, Airflow, AWS Glue, or Azure Data Factory.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (data warehouse design, query optimization, performance tuning).
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and data transformation.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, ETL frameworks, and data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms AWS / Azure / GCP.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins).
  • Knowledge of data orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, or similar).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with Kafka, Spark, or Databricks.
  • Exposure to machine learning pipelines or API integrations.
  • Snowflake or Cloud certification.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
