Job Brief
We seek a Business Analyst for our Digital Transformation practise, who is passionate about building products that people love to use. We require an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset to translate business goals into roadmaps and refined backlogs. This role involves full ownership of his/her value stream, working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment alongside cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch products aligning with the company's vision and strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Research industry trends, competition, analyse customer journey, identify gaps, and pain points, and design digital experience that empathise with customers.
  • Manage product life cycle from ideation to launch, define and own short to medium term goals that align with overall business strategy.
  • Monitor product adoption, gather customer feedback, and ensure timely delivery to enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the development, User Experience (UX), and other cross functional teams to define, refine and prioritise requirements, write clear, concise, and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Operate in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones, deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Lead agile teams, effectively communicate objectives and goals, and engage with business stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet desired expectations and receive appropriate signoff.
  • Prepare project documents such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Data Requirement Document (DRDs), Design Mock-ups and user manuals.
  • Participate in SCRUM meetings and Program Increment (PI) planning activities.

Requirements And Skills

  • Basic understanding of design thinking concepts such as customer empathy, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, customer journey mapping, and stakeholder mapping (RACI).
  • Familiarity with SCRUM/ Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Fundamental knowledge of software and product development lifecycle
  • Understanding of business value associated with features and functions.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs.
  • Adaptability to changing project priorities and requirements.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques is a plus
