  • About the role:Senior Software Engineer for the GBM customisation team

  • Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality, reusable, and reliable Java code and enterprise applications, potentially for large-scale systems.

  • Take end-to-end ownership of components and subsystems, from design and coding to deployment and enhancements.
  • Review and improve existing codebases for maintainability, performance, and scalability.
  • Validating the UAT/LIVE patch release
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices and upholding code quality standard.
  • Monitor production environments, identify and resolve issues, and troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software design and code LLD & unit test case Preparation
  • Work with QA teams to define test cases, analyze results, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Capable to handle the client escalations and attend Requirement discussions

  • Conduct technical sessions to team members for grooming

  • Candidate requirements:

  • Good in Core java, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, Ajax, HTML & CSS and multi-threading concepts

  • Good in MVC design pattern
  • Strong grasp of designing and developing APIs (SOAP, RESTful)
  • Database Oracle (SQL/PLSQL).
  • Good knowledge on Tools like iReports, SVN, Log4J, Junit, SQL Developer, TOAD, SoapUI, Postman, Jira
  • Good knowledge on IDE like Eclipse/STP/NetBeans.
  • Good knowledge on patch bundling and war deployment
  • Good knowledge on Software Design, develop, and unit testing
  • Experience on Client handling & knowledge on cloud like AWS, Azure is preferred.
  • Fair knowledge about Unix & Linux servers, shell scripting.
  • Familiar with Tomcat/Resin/WAS/JBOSS server
  • Familiar with AES/RSA encryption and decryption
  • Total experience should have more than 3 years.
