Role

The Design Manager will lead the design team, manage design projects, and ensure alignment with company objectives while maintaining high-quality design standards Key Responsibilities

  1. Design Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement design strategies in line with business goals.
  2. Project Execution: Oversee and ensure the timely execution of design projects.
  3. Team Leadership: Guide and mentor design engineers, ensuring performance and development.
  4. Customer Coordination: Engage with clients for design approvals and requirement gathering.
  5. BOP Validation: Verify and validate BOP components for system compatibility.
  6. Design Reviews: Conduct regular design reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  7. Budgeting & Resource Planning: Develop budgets for design projects and allocate resources efficiently.
  8. Process Optimization: Continuously improve design processes for efficiency and quality enhancement.
  9. Stakeholder Communication: Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Industry Trends & Innovations: Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in mechanical design.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 3-8 years of experience in mechanical design, automation, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of welding automation, assembly automation, and machine vision integration.
  • Expertise in CAD software (Solid Edge).

Technical expertise: Strong technical knowledge of welding automation, assembly automation, or related technologies. Skills & Competencies:

  • Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead a design team and drive project success.
  • Problem-solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of design principles and automation systems.
