Role Summary

The Accounts Executive (Construction) will manage 
project-wise accounting
, including labour payments, petty cash, vendor bills, PO-to-payment cycles, and financial documentation. The role ensures financial discipline across multiple civil + interior projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesA. Labour & Wage Management

  • Maintain daily labour attendance with Site Engineer.
  • Prepare wage sheets (daily/weekly).
  • Ensure payments match contracted rates.
  • Avoid duplicate or inflated claims.
  • Maintain a project-wise labour ledger.

B. Petty Cash Management

  • Maintain central petty cash register.
  • Issue cash only against approved requests.
  • Collect bills/receipts daily.
  • Weekly reconciliation + reporting to management.

C. Vendor & Material Financial Control

  • Track purchase requests → PO → GRN → invoice → payment.
  • Maintain vendor ledgers.
  • Ensure payments follow contract terms.
  • Track GST/TDS applicability.

D. Billing & Documentation

  • Verify contractor/vendor invoices with QS.
  • Check BOQ alignment.
  • Validate quantities before processing payments.
  • Maintain digital documentation.

E. Cashflow & Reporting

  • Weekly labour wage projection.
  • Weekly vendor payment projection.
  • Monthly project cost statement.

Required Experience

  • 2–5 years in 
    construction/interior contracting accounting
    .
  • Strong knowledge of PO systems, labour payments, petty cash.
  • Tally / Zoho Books proficiency.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS basics.
  • Experience managing multiple site accounts.
