Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Malappuram for a Sofa Worker. The Sofa Worker will be responsible for assembling, upholstering, and finishing sofas. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting materials, stitching and attaching upholstery, fitting sofa parts together, conducting quality checks, and performing maintenance tasks as needed. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
Experience in sofa assembly and upholstery work
Proficiency in measuring and cutting materials accurately
Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
Ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Understanding of safety protocols in a workshop environment
Prior experience in the furniture industry is a plus
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
