Location - Mumbai BKCPayroll  Company  - ltdClient - HPE ClientKey Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, update, and manage Hadoop clusters and ecosystem components (HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Spark, etc.).
  • Monitor Hadoop cluster health, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Perform backup and recovery tasks; manage data replication and high availability.
  • Perform routine cluster maintenance and support system upgrades and patches.
  • Automate tasks using scripting languages (Shell, Python, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Hadoop infrastructure and services.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and DBAs to optimize workloads.
  • Maintain and tune resource allocation via YARN and cluster configuration.
  • Document cluster architecture, processes, and changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Hadoop administration.
  • Hands-on experience on Apache distributions.
  • Strong knowledge of HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, and Spark.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line tools.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and log analysis.
  • Knowledge of data security and governance in Hadoop.
  • Scripting experience (Shell, Python). (Python Preferable)
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Hadoop (Cloudera Certified Administrator or similar).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD for Big Data environments.
  • Working Knowledge of Git
