Sr Integration Architect -SH

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and implement efficient and scalable integration solutions, adhering to best-practice standards in areas of performance, maintainability, exception handling & recovery.
  2. Establish integration design patterns to be leveraged by Integration / ETL Engineers.
  3. Works hands-on in designing and developing APIs for interfacing with Hospital EMRs, ELT jobs for big data workloads.
  4. Works with technical/business representatives from 3rd party vendors, partner organizations for secure data exchange or other data related needs.
  5. Serves as an EHR interoperability subject matter expert and provides guidance to business, and technical team members.

Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of proven experience architecting and designing API's from the ground-up using real-time, Batch Message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms
  2. Sound knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, such as HL7's Version 2.x messaging standard, Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), and FHIR
  3. Working knowledge of healthcare terminology and standards (e.g. ICD-10-CM, CPT, RXNORM...)
  4. Experience with Enterprise integration architecture, API Management, big data workloads and have awareness of emerging data technologies with the ability to adopt and apply new data design / ingestion patterns.
  5. 5+ years of experience designing, developing, troubleshooting, documenting and supporting SOAP/REST APIs
  6. 3+ years of experience developing ETL / ELT specifications and mappings to support big data workloads
  7. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages) and pursue leads to identify root cause
  8. Proficiency with at-least two scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Lua)
  9. Proficiency with SQL and Non-SQL Databases, DevOps and CI/CD tools
  10. Experience with Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
  11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  12. Prior experience in the Healthcare industry
  13. Well versed with Agile delivery lifecycle
  14. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills 
  15. Excellent analytical and effective communication skills
