Description :

As a Senior SDET at Acceldata :

- You will be the gatekeeper for product and platform quality and come up with a Project/Feature system test strategy, test plans, resource planning, and execution strategy.

- Develop maintainable test automation tools and automated test suites.

- You will also work closely with Software Engineers and solution engineers from the beginning of the development/test cycle and be an integral part of the engineering team.

- Along with automation, create expertise in data technologies, platform components, and features maintain test coverage, regression pipelines, and release management.

A day in the life of a Senior SDET :

- Develop, design, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools using programming languages such as Java or Python.

- Collaborate with development teams to develop test strategies and plans for new product features.

- Design, execute, and maintain automated test suites to ensure the quality of our products.

- Perform manual testing when necessary, and identify and report defects.

- Work with build management tools like Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools to ensure smooth build and deployment processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, and improve product quality.

- Monitor and analyse test results, and provide feedback to development teams to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

You are a great fit, if you have :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

years of experience in Test Automation with expertise in UI Automation ( Cypress / Selenium /Playwright ) and API Automation.

- Strong programming skills in Java or Python, and other scripting languages.

- Experience in database testing to validate data integrity, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of our data systems.

- Expertise in MongoDB / Cassandra / Elasticsearch / HBase is preferred.

- Good understanding of Kafka / Spark / Storm.

- Hands-on experience with building processes, CI processes, and managing QA environments.

- Experience working with build management tools like Git and Jenkins.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
