The Role

We're seeking a
Senior Backend Engineer
with 3+ years of Java development experience to architect and build the intelligent backend systems that power our AI-driven fleet management platform. You'll work on high-scale, real-time data processing systems handling GPS telemetry, video analytics streams, and predictive algorithms that serve thousands of vehicles and users daily.​

This is a hands-on technical role where you'll design scalable microservices, optimize database architectures for time-series and geospatial data, and integrate cutting-edge AI/ML capabilities into production systems.

What You'll Do

Architect & Build Scalable Systems

• Design and develop robust microservices using
  Java 11+, Spring Boot
  , and RESTful APIs to handle real-time fleet data at scale​
• Build and optimize database solutions using
  PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB (time-series)
  , and
  NoSQL databases
  for high-velocity IoT data streams​
• Develop server-side logic for GPS tracking, video analytics processing, and AI-driven insights delivery

Drive Technical Innovation

• Integrate AI/ML models for driver behavior analytics, predictive maintenance, and route optimization into production backend services​
• Design and implement real-time data pipelines processing telemetry from thousands of fleet vehicles
• Build APIs for seamless integration with ERPs, third-party systems, and mobile/web applications

Ensure Quality & Performance

• Implement containerization using
  Docker
  and orchestration with
  Kubernetes
  for cloud-native deployment​
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment across
  AWS/GCP
  cloud platforms​
• Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and champion best practices in software craftsmanship​

Collaborate & Innovate

• Work closely with frontend engineers, data scientists, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical roadmap planning
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance across multiple environments

What We're Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

• 3+ years
  of hands-on backend development experience with
  Java 8/11+
  and
  J2EE

• Strong expertise in
  Spring Boot framework
  and
  microservices architecture
  design and implementation​
• Deep understanding of
  RESTful API development

  JSON
  , and service-oriented architecture (SOA)​
• Proficiency in
  SQL and NoSQL databases

  PostgreSQL
  and at least one NoSQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar)​
• Experience with

• Working knowledge of

Software Engineering Fundamentals

• Strong command of
