About the Role:

Our client, a reputed IT training organization, is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Trainer to deliver practical, hands-on training in cybersecurity fundamentals, ethical hacking, penetration testing, and threat analysis. The trainer will prepare learners to detect, prevent, and mitigate cyber threats while equipping them with industry-ready skills.

Key Training Areas:

• Understanding the Information Security landscape, threats, and the cybersecurity ecosystem.
• Overview of types of cyber-attacks, threat levels, and threat analysis.
• Understanding and working with security signatures.
• Acquaintance with the networking ecosystem for cybersecurity applications.
• In-depth use of the Kali Linux platform and its security tools.
• Understanding attack types and implementing counter-measures.
• Platform-specific hacking techniques.
• Usage of advanced tools and techniques to identify, analyze, and solve security vulnerabilities.
• Bug identification and remedial measures.
• Network and website security assessment with reporting.
• Advanced software and applications for penetration testing.
• Hands-on scenarios for bug identification, website and network vulnerability detection.
• Solving complex cases of security breaches with advanced practical approaches.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver interactive, lab-based cybersecurity training sessions.
• Prepare and maintain course content, lab setups, and assessment materials.
• Provide guidance to students on certification paths and career opportunities in cybersecurity.
• Keep training content updated with the latest tools, threats, and defense strategies.
• Assess student performance and provide mentorship.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Professional certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, OSCP, or CISSP.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, or penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of network security, threat analysis, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create real-world lab scenarios and practical exercises.
