Our group's focus is to build and manage solutions, supporting Apple's multi billion dollar B2B Business.

This position will provide architecture, design and development opportunities across multiple projects.

Description

This position is for a hands-on technical expert in MDM and Data Quality (cleansing / standardisation and matching).

You will work on key MDM projects that help to maximise the business outcomes with improved data quality, integrity, visibility, and accuracy. You should excel in diagnosis of hands-on problem-solving.

You should be willing to learn and build solutions using SaaS products.

You will help build our next generation server-side software stack that will deliver scalable, highly reliable solutions.

You will have passion for technology and willing to work in fast paced environment.

You will interact with other internal and external groups to bring to life a full end to end solution that delivers the simple, secure and elegant experience to Apple customers.

The role requires flexibility to work on both custom data solutions and established MDM/ ETL tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Foundational experience or knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools.

Familiarity or experience working in MDM/ ETL tools like Informatica, Stibo, Reltio, Talend or similar.

Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

3-7 years of experience as a Data Engineer in designing and developing scalable enterprise grade solutions and working complex mission critical projects, with high throughput and high load.

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking analytic skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced queries, performance tuning, and optimisation.

Strong experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.) and data warehousing platforms.

Solid understanding and proficiency in data modelling, database design, and data pipeline development.

Knowledge in PL/SQL (CTEs, Dynamic Variable, Window Functions, Analytical Functions etc.)

Good understanding in designing and implementing ETL & data quality solutions.

Scripting skills in Python, Bash, Ansible or similar languages for automation.

Intermediate level development experience in programming (Java or Python) and Web Services

Understanding of data security, quality, integrity, consistency principles throughout the data lifecycle.

Familiarity in working on large-scale, high-volume applications is important.
