In our journey, we are looking for talented individuals who can lead us on this mission.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our dynamic Research & Innovation team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of cosmetic product development, focusing on formulation, quality assessment, and performance characterization. You will work alongside expert scientists and contribute to projects that bring innovative and high-quality beauty solutions to consumers worldwide.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

As an intern, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Formulation Development: Actively participate in the development and optimization of cosmetic formulations, with a particular focus on various galenic, including serum formulations. You will assist in preparing experimental batches and documenting observations.
• Quality Assessment: Conduct rigorous quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. This includes performing physical and chemical analyses to ensure products meet L'Oral's stringent quality standards.
• Characterization of Product Performance: Support the team in evaluating the performance of new and existing products. This involves conducting various tests to assess efficacy, stability, sensorial attributes, and other key performance indicators relevant to cosmetic products.

• Comprehensive Understanding of Product Design, Evaluation & Development: Learn the end-to-end process of cosmetic product creation, from initial concept and design through rigorous evaluation and final development for market launch.

Role Requirements (Desirable Skills & Experience):

While not all are strictly required, candidates who possess the following will be highly regarded:

• Cosmetic Ingredient Knowledge: Basic understanding of cosmetic raw materials and their functions.
• Lab Proficiency: Familiarity with standard lab equipment and processes used in cosmetic formulation and analysis.
• Emulsion & Cosmetic Technologies: Understanding of emulsion science and other relevant cosmetic technologies.
• Communication & Reporting: Ability to clearly articulate experimental results and findings.
• Proactive & Meticulous: A self-starter with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Cosmetic Science, or a related scientific field.
• Prior laboratory experience, preferably in a cosmetics
