About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Manager to oversee the development and delivery of our mobile applications and backend services. You will lead a team of engineers, ensure best practices in development, and collaborate closely with the CTO and Product Managers to streamline technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of mobile applications (Android/iOS) and Java Spring Boot-based backend systems.
  • Manage the end-to-end technical delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-quality code, timely releases, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with CTO to align engineering decisions with overall tech strategy.
  • Work with Product Managers to understand requirements, translate them into technical tasks, and set realistic delivery timelines.
  • Guide the team in architecture, code reviews, and design discussions.
  • Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, performance issues, and scalability concerns.
  • Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
  • Proven experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with mobile app development lifecycle (Android/iOS) and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and modern SDLC practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, monitoring, and observability tools.
  • Experience scaling teams and systems in fast-paced startup or product environments.
