Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant (Absence Management) with a strong background in HR processes and system configuration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end Workday Absence and Compensation solutions, including requirement gathering, configuration, data conversion, testing, and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday Absence Management and Compensation modules in alignment with business requirements.
  • Work closely with HR stakeholders to analyze and document functional requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
  • Perform data conversions and support data validation during implementation or migration activities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of Absence and Compensation modules with other HR functions (Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.).
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot functional issues.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to manage interfaces and integrations with external systems.
  • Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle, from requirement gathering to go-live and support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 38 years of Workday Functional experience, specifically in Absence Management (mandatory).
  • Hands-on experience in Workday configuration and business process setup.
  • Exposure to Workday Compensation module preferred.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and fundamentals (leave, benefits, payroll integration, etc.).
  • Experience in data migration and validation activities.
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Workday certification(s) in Absence or Compensation is an added advantage.

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in at least two Workday implementation or support projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
