About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in derivative accounting, securities transactions, and advanced financial reporting. The ideal candidate is someone who has cleared most levels of CA (semi-qualified) and has solid hands-on experience in capital markets, financial instruments, and CMA documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting for derivatives, securities, and financial instruments, including MTM, valuation, entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare accurate journal entries, ledger reviews, and monthly/quarterly financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain CMA (Credit Monitoring Arrangement) reports, projections, and bank-ready financial documentation.
  • Maintain books for trading portfolios, investment transactions, and risk positions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Ind AS/IFRS, especially Ind AS 109 (Financial Instruments).
  • Support audits by preparing schedules and coordinating with internal/external auditors.
  • Prepare MIS reports, analyze P&L variances, and provide financial insights for management decisions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Semi-qualified CA (CA Inter or Final-level candidate) with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of derivative accounting, securities lifecycle, and investment accounting.
  • Experience preparing CMA reports, financial projections, and bank compliance documents.
  • Strong understanding of Ind AS, particularly Ind AS 109.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and Advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and financial interpretation skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in broking firms, NBFCs, investment firms, or treasury departments.
  • Exposure to auditing investment books or derivative portfolios.
