Your Role

As an Optical Network Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions for managing optical network elements and integrating with SDN controllers and multi-vendor devices. Youll work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver robust, standards-compliant network management systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop solutions forDWDMandOTNbased optical networks
  • Build and maintain systems to manageOptical NEs and entities(e.g., ports, optical pluggables, trails, APS)
  • Work withSDN controllerssuch asOpenDaylight (ODL)
  • Implement protocols likeNetconf,YANG, andSNMP
  • Design and developNMS solutionsfor optical networks
  • Integrate withmulti-vendor devicesusingSNMP,Netconf, andYANG
  • Enablenorthbound integrationwith OSS and applications usingNetconf,Restconf, andREST APIs
  • Build scalable microservices-based solutions usingKubernetesandKafka

Your Profile

  • 6-12 years of experience in network software development
  • Strong expertise inDWDM,OTN, and optical network management
  • Hands-on experience withSDN controllers(ODL preferred)
  • Proficiency inNetconf,YANG,SNMP, andRESTful APIs
  • Experience in buildingNMS solutionsand integrating with OSS systems
  • Familiarity withmicroservices architecture,Kubernetes, andKafka
  • Working experience withpublic cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
  • Exposure toCisco NSOandHCOis desirable
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
