Position: Assistant Quality Engineer

Location: Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad)

Requisites:

  • 1-2 years of experience in the Quality Department of an automotive manufacturing company.
  • Exposure to lighting product inspection and testing is an added advantage.
  • Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Industrial Engineering.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and audit processes.
  • Familiar with automotive quality systems and tools (e.g., 5 Why, 8D, CAPA, etc.).
  • Understanding of inward quality inspection procedures.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in IATF 16949, Customer, and Supplier Audits.
  • Prepare and maintain audit-related documentation and quality records.
  • Support in customer complaint handling, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor and maintain the Inward Quality Inspection Process.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain and update QMS documentation as per IATF standards.
  • Work closely with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist in internal process audits and quality improvements.
