Role Description

This is a full-time position for an IO Functional Validation Engineer based in Bengaluru, India. The IO Functional Validation Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing functional validation strategies for semiconductor IO systems. Key responsibilities include working closely with design and testing teams, validating IOs to ensure performance and reliability, troubleshooting potential issues, and maintaining detailed documentation. The role requires collaboration across teams to ensure alignment with testing methodologies and specifications.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor IO systems and functional validation processes.
  • Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving for hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with using validation tools, measurement equipment, and industry-standard protocols.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and disciplines, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in semiconductor validation, circuit design, or testing is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages for automation is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Must have good understanding of validation platform
  • Must have good platform poweron, debug skills using ITP/JTAG
  • Should have good Python, automation and basic FW skills
  • Immediate joiner preferred
  • Experience range : 5-10 years
  • Must have one of below:

HSIO: DDR4/5, CSI, DSI, Ethernet

LSIO: UART, i2C, SPI, CAN
