We are seeking an experienced Analytical Chemist with a proven track record in laboratory analysis, method development, and quality control. The ideal candidate will possess 6 years of hands-on experience in analytical chemistry and a deep understanding of laboratory equipment, techniques, and data interpretation. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and reliability of chemical processes, products, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Method Development & Validation: Develop and validate analytical methods for the analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., USP, EP, ICH).
  • Instrumental Analysis: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain various analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, IR, ICP, BET, PSD, Tap Density and other relevant technologies. Ensure proper calibration and routine maintenance of equipment.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyse complex data sets, interpret results, and generate detailed reports. Provide clear and concise data interpretations and conclusions for decision-making.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Monitor product quality, ensuring all analytical testing is performed in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices) regulations.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams to support new product development, stability testing, and process optimization. Provide analytical support for product lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve analytical issues or deviations, ensuring reliable results in a timely manner. Propose corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and thorough records in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure proper documentation of test procedures, results, and equipment maintenance.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior chemists and laboratory technicians, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical techniques and regulations.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory, preferably in the Battery or chemical industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in operating advanced analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, ICP, BET, PSD, etc.). Familiar with software for data analysis and reporting (e.g., Empower, ChemStation, LabView).
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, method development, and validation. In-depth knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as USP, EP, and ICH.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex data and findings.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
