Role description

Experience: 9+ years in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Amazon Linux environments.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience in Linux administration, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and system hardening.
  • Proven expertise in Cloud Platforms (AWS / GCP) — provisioning, automation, and system management in cloud-based environments.
  • Skilled in network configuration and troubleshooting (both hardware and software components).
  • Proficient in managing user accounts, permissions, and access control.
  • Experience maintaining system stability, performance, and security in enterprise-scale environments.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Monitor platform health and proactively mitigate performance or operational issues.
  • Participate in incident response and troubleshooting sessions with tenants/end users; provide guidance and timely resolutions.
  • Join incident bridges, update service tickets accurately, and perform escalations when necessary.
  • Perform OS-level troubleshooting (Linux, hardware, and security agents) and coordinate with respective teams for complex issues.
  • Conduct patching and updates for OS, firmware, and security components.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration baselines, and change records in alignment with ITIL practices.
