Position: New Project Commissioning Recycled - Polymer and Pyrolysis Oil (From Plastics) Manufacturing

Location: Chennai

Industry: Recycled Polymer granules and Plastic Waste to Pyrolysis Oil (Recycling & Renewable Energy)

Experience: 10+ years (preferred in Plastic Pyrolysis / Waste-to-Energy Industry)

About the Role:

Recycled Polymer Granules Manufacturing and Pyrolysis Oil Manufacturing (From Plastics) company engaged in is seeking a R&D Technical Head , Plant Commissioning Project Head. The role involves leading the complete setup and operational management of the pyrolysis plant — from installation and commissioning to smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead plant erection and commissioning activities for the Pyrolysis Oil unit.

Manage end-to-end production operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and output quality.

Oversee raw material feeding processes, input quality checks, and process optimization.

Ensure regulatory compliance, certifications, and documentation related to environmental and safety standards.

Supervise and guide the production team and technical workforce to achieve operational targets.

Coordinate with R&D teams for continuous process improvement, emission control, and yield enhancement.

Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

Maintain coordination with vendors, consultants, and internal departments for plant performance enhancement.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (Master's preferred).

Proven experience in Pyrolysis Oil, Waste Plastic Recycling, or Petrochemical industry.

Strong understanding of plant processes, safety standards, and compliance protocols.

Hands-on experience in manpower handling, production planning, and process optimization.

Innovative mindset with practical exposure to R&D or process improvement initiatives.

Leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
