Company Description

Ajagar Social Circle is the initiative of eight likeminded young practitioners, to bring about a change in social economic culture, support low income segment and increasing the livelihood opportunities of the people in north eastern region of the country. The organization at present is engaged in a number of activities that are clearly demarcated and collectively aims to provide social and economic security to the farming, allied and non-farming community living in the Assam-Meghalaya belt of the North eastern region. Ajagar Social Circle was formally registered in the year 2001 under Society Registration Act 1860 XXI vide Registration No. RS/GOAL/125/B/26 of The organization has also been registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act. Vide Registered No in 2008.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Goalpara District of Assam, India, for a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will manage projects by monitoring progress, ensuring timelines are met, and coordinating across teams. Key responsibilities include planning and scheduling project deliverables, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders for effective communication and problem-solving. The role also involves identifying project risks and addressing bottlenecks efficiently to ensure successful completion.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to plan and coordinate projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges and ensure progress within deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and an understanding of project workflows.
  • Attention to detail to review and verify project documentation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline , Project Management, or a related field.
  • Two years relevant experience in project coordination and familiarity with Business Plan Development, Micro Enterprise setup and credit linkage
