About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Workday Security Consultant with strong expertise in Workday security design, configuration, and administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, role-based access, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Workday security models and a proactive approach to user support and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and maintain Workday security, including Role-Based Security (RBS), Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security, and User Access Management.

- Implement and manage User Provisioning, Access Reviews, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls within Workday.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into secure Workday security configurations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday security-related issues and provide technical support to end-users.

- Conduct security audits, compliance checks, and ensure alignment with company policies and external regulations.

- Manage integrations impacting security such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Identity Management systems (Okta, Azure AD, etc.).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, IT, and compliance to align Workday security with organizational needs.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation for security configurations, policies, and procedures.

- Train and educate users on security best practices, access protocols, and policy adherence.

- Stay updated on Workday releases and new security features, and proactively apply enhancements.

- Complete mandatory Workday and corporate training within assigned timelines.

Technical Skills and Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with Workday Security Configuration across all security domains including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

- Strong knowledge of Workday Security Groups - User-Based, Role-Based, and Advanced Groups.

- Experience with Business Process Framework Security and Domain Security Policies.

- Understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) principles and implementation within Workday.

- Familiarity with Workday User Provisioning Lifecycle including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding.

- Working knowledge of Workday Reporting Security and how security affects report visibility.

- Experience integrating Workday with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools such as Okta, Azure AD, or Ping Identity.

- Understanding of Single Sign-On (SSO), SAML, and OAuth protocols in context of Workday.

- Experience with Workday Security Audit and Compliance reporting.

- Ability to write complex security audit reports and remediate access issues.

- Familiarity with Workday Tenant Management and security-related tenant setup.

- Knowledge of Workday Studio or EIB integrations related to security provisioning is a plus.

- Workday Security certification is preferred.
