• Position: Founder's Office Associate
• Location: PolyCycl R&D Centre, Kalka (near Chandigarh) full-time, on-site
• Compensation: Market competitive, commensurate with experience.

As Founder's Office Associate, you shall be working closely with Polycycl's Founder & CEO (Amit Tandon) and operating at the intersection of communication, operations and organizational growth. You will get a ring-side view of how deep-tech technologies are developed, scaled, and commercialized and how startups interacts with partners, investors, and policymakers to bring innovation to life.

About Polycycl

PolyCycl is a climate-tech venture building a plastic-to-plastic circular economy. Over 10+ years of R&D we have developed a patented, fully continuous thermo-chemical process that converts hard-to-recycle waste plastics (for example, single-use flexible grocery films) into high-quality hydrocarbon feedstocks used to make virgin-equivalent circular polymers. Headquartered near Chandigarh, PolyCycl combines practical engineering with systems thinking to bring low-carbon solutions to scale.

Ideal Profile

We are seeking a multi-disciplinary, self-starting professional who blends analytical ability with strong communication and coordination skills.

• Education: Graduate or postgraduate from programs emphasizing interdisciplinary learning, such as Ashoka University (Young India Fellowship), ISB-YLP, Azim Premji University or degrees with engineering, management, liberal arts, management or policy. The ideal candidate would not be defined by academic discipline, but by aptitude and mindset.
• We are looking for an engineer with strong writing and presentation skills or for a liberal arts or policy graduate with demonstrated analytical and communication strength someone equally comfortable with data and storytelling**.
• Experience: 2-5 years, ideally with communications, sustainability, consulting, or policy roles within startups, think-tanks, or impact organizations.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in PowerPoint, Canva, Excel/Sheets and social media platforms (LinkedIn, X).

Personal Traits and Core Competence

• Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into structured text narratives and visuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clear, thoughtful, articulate and professional - this is a must.
• Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in sustainability, technology, and systems change.

Key Responsibilities

Communications & Social Media

• Develop and manage PolyCycl's social presence (LinkedIn and X).
• Create thoughtful posts that showcase technology milestones, partnerships, R&D progress and team stories.
• Work with engineers and R&D to translate technical updates into clear public content.

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement

• Draft briefing notes and event materials for media, policy and investor meetings.
• Support relationship building with government regulatory bodies, petrochemical firms and waste management companies.

Documentation & Thought Leadership

• Prepare concept notes, presentation decks, press releases, newsletters and sustainability/impact reports.
• Maintain a central knowledge repository of regulatory updates, whitepapers and internal materials.

Coordination & Operations

• Coordinate project trackers and milestone delivery across Engineering, R&D, Partnerships and Admin.
• Represent the Founders Office in meetings; record outcomes and ensure follow-ups are closed.
• Manage routine admin: scheduling, travel planning, visitor logistics and interview coordination.

Hiring Support

• Assist with talent outreach and employer branding: draft job posts, share role updates on social media, screen initial applications and coordinate interviews.
